About The Winstone Trust

Kate Doreen Winstone, who died in 2003, left money in her will for a charitable trust fund to be set up to benefit Cirencester and its residents.

Mrs Winstone, whose late husband Bob was a shoemaker in Cricklade Street and ran Winstone and Sons shoe shop, wished for her fund to be used to help Cirencester Parish Church, educational projects, arts and cultural projects and other charitable projects which will benefit the community.
