Booking info: General & Drop in Swims
Q: What are “General Swims”?
General swims run weekday mornings and afternoons and combine both bookable and walk-in (pay at the gate) tickets.
Q: What are “Drop-In Swims”?
Drop-in only swims are exclusively available on weekends. No booking is needed — just pay at the gate and swim during the posted session times.
Q: How do weekday morning swims work?
Start time: 10:30 am
Bookable slots: 120 spots available to guarantee early entry.
Walk-ins: Admitted from 11:00 am onwards, as space allows.
Q: How do weekday afternoon swims work?
Start time: 2:00 pm
Bookable slots: 60 spots available for guaranteed early entry.
Walk-ins: Admitted from 2:30 pm onwards, 90 straight away. On hot days with a full lifeguarding team we can welcome 200-300 visitors during our long afternoon sessions.
Q: Why do sessions sometimes show as “unavailable” or greyed out?
This only means the bookable early-entry slots have sold out. We still have plenty of space for walk-ins once the drop-in time begins.
Q: Will I get in as a walk-in?
Most likely, yes. We run long sessions (up to 5 hours, (check timetable on our “Plan Your Visit” page) and people come and go, so we admit more visitors throughout the day. On very hot days, queues are common — please be prepared to wait.
Q: Do I need to book if I don’t mind arriving later?
No — if you’re happy to arrive at 11:00 am (morning) or 2:30 pm (afternoon), you can walk in and pay at the gate.
