Cirencester Open Air Swimming Pool, first opened to the public in 1870 is set in a picturesque location on Riverside Walk, close to Cirencester Park. The pool, which is open from mid-May to mid-September, is 27m long. There is also a children's pool (depth 0.5m) adjacent to the mail pool. Water for both pools is supplied from a natural spring close to the pool and heated to an average temperature of around 26°C. Surrounding the pool is a large patio area with benches and tables for relaxing together with a tuck shop serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice creams.
Please note that the pool is located in a pedestrianised area with no vehicular access. However, there are numerous public car parks within a short walking distance from the pool.
