How General Swim sessions work

Each General Swim session offers a limited number of bookable slots alongside walk-in entry.

BOOK ONLINE: You’re guaranteed entry during the first 30 minutes of the session -that’s your dedicated window to arrive and get straight in. If you arrive after the first 30 minutes, you’ll join the walk-in queue like everyone else, though you’ll be processed more quickly at reception since you’ve already paid.

OR

WALK -INS : You’re very welcome to walk in without booking. There is no guarantee of entry but a large proportion of our pool capacity is kept aside for walk-in swimmers, and on a typical day you’ll get in without any trouble. On a very hot day we may have three times as many Walk-In visitors as those who have booked – however queues are very likely while we manage capacity safely, so be prepared with sun crean and drinks.

Walk-in entry opens 30 minutes after the session starts, once we’ve checked in our booked swimmers. With sessions running up to 5 hours and people coming and going throughout, there’s plenty of opportunity to swim.
