Join us at Cirencester Open Air Pool for two special one-hour sessions on the morning of the summer solstice – Sunday 21st June.
The 04:45 session puts you in the water right at sunrise, as the first light breaks over the Cotswolds. The 05:45 session lets you swim in pure golden morning light as the solstice sun climbs. Both are an hour long, both are unforgettable. This is the best morning of the year – come and swim it.
The summer solstice is the longest day of the year, with nearly 17 hours of daylight in our area. Sunrise falls at around 4:52 am and our 04:45 session starts just as the sky begins to glow, so you’ll be in the water the moment the sun appears. The 05:45 session opens into a glittering, fully lit Cotswold morning. Whether you’re a swimming regular or just want to mark the solstice in style, these sessions are open to all. Spots are limited – book early.
