We need YOU! – we’re looking for new trustees

As we head into a hot spell, here’s hoping it’s a glorious continuation of what’s already been a brilliant season at the pool – we’re two months in and off to a wonderful start.

As you may know, the pool is a registered charity, which means it relies on a team of volunteer trustees to oversee how it’s run. Over the last nine months we’ve been delighted to welcome four new trustees to the team, and we’re now looking for two more to join us before the end of the year.

Your love of our pool is what we treasure most, and that’s really what we’re looking for. Beyond that, we’d love to hear from people with general strategic experience of all kinds, from all walks of life. There’s no single background required – so please come and talk to me, or any of the other trustees, and we’ll happily tell you more about what’s involved.

If you happen to have direct experience of running charities, governance, or acting as a trustee before, we’d be especially keen to hear from you and learn from what you’ve done – but please don’t let a lack of that be a reason not to get in touch. We’re always looking for volunteers too, and volunteering is a great stepping stone towards becoming a trustee.
