Pool Hire Booking Terms

You and your guests are responsible for your children and proper supervision is required at all times.

When swimming with children or vulnerable swimmers, the parent to child ratio is as follows : 

For under 4s, 1 adult per child

For children between 4-7 years, 1 adult per 2 children

For any child under 8 years, they must be accompanied in the water

For weaker swimmers of any age, they must be accompanied in the water.

Whether your party is held on the terrace or in the pool, our rates are the same and are priced accordingly: 

Guests 1 – 60: £250
Guests 61 – 90: £300
Guests 91 – 120: £350

You can either hire the pool on a Wednesday evening or a Saturday evening for the 1hr 45mins time slots shown below.

Please note that:
No-one can come on site before the session begins
Everyone must have left the site by the end of your 1hr 45mins booking.

Wed times: 7:15 – 9:00pm
Arrive 7:15pm
Depart 9:00pm
Lock-up 9:15pm

Sat times: 6:15 – 8:00pm
Arrive 6:15pm
Depart 8:00pm
Lock-up 8:15pm

You can bring your own food and hosts (only) can use the back gate from the Barracks car park to carry in party items.

If you’d like to use our 2 flat-bed electric BBQs, you can hire them for £30, (the fee is payable upon booking).

If you’d like to use the tuck shop, this can be hired for £30.  Just let us know on the booking form and we’ll provide someone to man the booth for you.

You can bring party decorations but you will need to clear them away before you leave.

All rubbish must be taken away with you. As we have trouble with foxes, please don’t leave any bin bags on site or by the gate.

Lifeguards are provided for your event and are included within the booking fee. They will be on duty to ensure your guests’ safety so please follow their advice and direction at all times.  

The number of lifeguards is based on the number of guests at a ratio of 1 lifeguard to every 30 swimmers.  

If you would like additional lifeguards, please let us know when you submit your form and we’ll advise the supplement to be added to your booking fee.

The lifeguards will also ensure guests adhere to the pool’s terms and conditions.  If any guests contravene these guidelines, they will liaise with the host and expect their support.

Typically, refunds are given only if the pool has to be closed for any reason.  

If a host needs to cancel their party, please email the pool as soon as possible and we’ll try to find an alternative date for you, space permitting.  If that isn’t possible, we will refund 50% of the booking fee you have paid.

All guests must arrive on site through the main gate from the Riverside Path.

No-one can be on site before or after the start and finishing times of your event so please ensure they understand that they need to leave promptly.

The pool is situated in a residential area so we don’t allow music on site and ask that you and your guests leave quietly to avoid disturbing local families. 

We have changing facilities you can use with free lockers but please note that the showers and hairdriers are coin-operated and take 20p pieces.

Guests can bring their own inflatables.

The slide can be used as long as a lifeguard is supervising its use.

No glass of any sort is permitted on site (bottles or glasses).

No alcohol, smoking or vaping is allowed on the site.
