Manning the gate
Our volunteers manage admissions, tickets and the flow of visitors into the pool for each of our sessions.

Out of hours, our volunteers make special sessions possible : from youth evenings, dawn dips and starlit swims to community events and pivotal fundraising efforts.
Running the tuck shop
Our hardworking tuck shop team keeps people fuelled with hot and cold snacks, drinks and ice creams as well as Summer essentials like sun screen.
Keeping up appearances
From sweeping the terrace and tidying the changing rooms to gardening and resetting the site, our crack team keeps the pool looking fabulous.
Volunteers
Our swimming pool thrives thanks to our incredible volunteers. From the friendly faces at the entrance gate and tuck shop to the dedicated crew behind the scenes, each plays a vital role in creating the warm, welcoming space our community loves.
Our Plant Maintenance Volunteer Team may often be unseen, but their impact is huge. A brilliant blend of brains and brawn, they bring professional engineering and mechanical expertise to everything they do—from general site maintenance to managing the pool’s complex machinery. They ensure our water stays crystal clear and a constant 26 degrees, our showers are reliably hot, and the plumbing works without a hitch. Their tireless work keeps the pool safe, smooth-running, and ready for everyone to enjoy.
