Originally opened in 1870, Cirencester Open Air Swimming Pool, a 27m main pool and a children's pool (depth 0.5m) is set in a picturesque location on Riverside Walk close to Cirencester Park. The pool water, supplied from a natural spring, is heated to an average temperature of 26°C. There is a large patio area for relaxing with a tuck shop serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice creams.  During the summer, we are open 7 days a week with a range of swim sessions on offer:

• General Swims (Bookable), Weekday mornings, open pool, however a swimming lane can be requested. 
• Drop-in Swims (Non-Bookable), Weekday afternoons and all day Saturday and Sundays from 10:30am. Designed for all. No pre-booking, just turn anytime and pay on the gate.
• Lane Swims (Bookable), Weekdays and Saturday mornings. Adults only, except for 9am Saturday morning session. Fast, medium and slow lanes available.
• Aqua Aerobics (Bookable), 2 weekday morning and evening sessions, fun filled instructor-led exercises to music. Pre-booking required.
• Inclusive Swims (Bookable), Tuesday and Sunday mornings. These sessions are only for people with 'specific requirements' and those who find it daunting swimming with large groups of people. Pre-booking required.
• Pre-School (Bookable), Weekday mornings. Adult & Pre-school children. Use of the children's pool only, other swim sessions are running at the same time.
• Youth Evenings (Non-Bookable), Friday evenings for young people (school years 7 to 11), only £1 entry.
• Dawn and Night Swims (Bookable). We run a number of these sessions during the summer, giving you the opportunity to watch the sun rise or see the stars while swimming in our beautiful pool.
• Private Parties - Our pool is also available for private hire, 2 evenings a week during the summer. More details on the Pool Hire page

We are located in a pedestrianised area with no car parking facilities on site. However, there are numerous public car parks in the vicinity, taking credit & debit card payments. See our Visitor Information page for more details.
