Plan Your Visit

The pool is divided into 4 lanes, 1 extra wide for more leisurely swimmers and 3 lanes catering for swimmers who are slow, medium or fast. Choose whichever lane suits you for doing lengths.

General swims have a mix of bookable and walk-in spaces. Book online to guarantee your spot, or just turn up and pay at the gate. The first 30 minutes are booked swimmers only, after that walk-ins are admitted as space allows. Over the session, walk-ins typically make up the majority of customers.

Adults can bring young children (aged under 4) to swim together in the children’s pool. Tickets for these swims include a free hot drink so come and enjoy yourselves.

Water is a fantastic medium for getting fit so if you’d like to mix up your swimming with some fun exercise sessions, come to our instructor-led aerobics classes and build your strength and stamina using water resistance, music and enthusiastic encouragement!

For swimmers with physical, accessibility or mental health needs, these sessions offer a peaceful environment to enhance well-being, confidence and fitness. We keep numbers low so please book a place in advance and let us know if you’ll need special access or our mobile hoist.

New wellness facilities have arrived! After your swim, warm up in our pop up sauna (up to 9, booked alongside a swim), cool off in the plunge pools, or unwind on a sun lounger  with castle views. As evenings draw in, our mood lighting sets the scene. For ages 16+.
